MICHELINO BISCEGLIA
Michelino Bisceglia is a film composer who has created the soundtracks for multiple successful feature films. His latest soundtrack for the film ‘Marina’ was awarded with a World Soundtrack Award at the 2014 Film Fest Gent. Moreover, he composed the music for Blue Bird, a feature film directed by Gust Van den Berghe that was screened at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. For these film projects Bisceglia worked with a number of renowned orchestras, such as The Brussels Philharmonic.
He was also the orchestrator, arranger and conductor of the Symfollies 3D-animation series. They created 52 episodes, which were broadcasted worldwide. The success of this project resulted in a number of live shows with orchestra. For these live shows Michelino Bisceglia worked with a number of renowned international orchestras, such as The Royal Flemish Phillharmonic, The Japan Synfonia Orchestra and Orquestra Nacional do Porto.
As a producer Michelino Bisceglia worked on more than 60 full album recordings. He has composed and arranged approximately 450 orchestration works for symphonic orchestra, big bands, choirs, and string quartets.
